BIOTEAM survey: sustainability aspects of bioenergy

Dear stakeholder,

Do you have an opinion about the sustainable use of biomass for energy purposes?

If so, please fill in the BIOTEAM Survey on sustainability criteria.

It is our pleasure to invite you to fill in the online survey of the EU co-funded project BIOTEAM. The goal of BIOTEAM is to promote the rational and sustainable use of biomass resources; you can learn more about the project visiting our website at www.sustainable-biomass.eu.

The survey builds upon the notion that using biomass has a number of positive as well as negative impacts. Biomass for energy can reduce GHG emissions, can create employment and promote regional economic developments. But using biomass can also cause in higher PM10 emissions, higher energy costs and/or loss of valuable soil nutrients. With this survey we want to assess the relative importance (weights) of these individual sustainability impacts. Results will be processed anonymously.
