Online portal highlighting EU-funded research on reducing emissions
The www.ClimateChangeMitigation.eu portal collects and posts information from different EU-funded research and coordination projects on climate change mitigation. It supports development of low-emission pathways for reaching the goals of the Paris Agreement, including research on low-emission technology development and diffusion, policy making and governance, as well as institutional aspects of adopting low-emission solutions.
Through the portal, articles are published which highlight results of the collaborating projects and contain weblinks to the main documents on which they are based.
ClimateChangeMitigation.eu was set up and is managed by the CARISMA project which receives funding from the Horizon 2020 programme of the European Commission. Various other EU-funded projects have joined, including JIN's projects POLIMP, ENSPOL. PUBLENEF, CARISMA, TRANSrisk, LANDMARC and WATER-MINING.
Platform management is performed by consecutive EU-funded (Framework/Horizon) projects:
- CARISMA - 2016-2018
- DEEDS - 2018-2020
- LANDMARC - 2020-2024
- Wytze van der Gaast
- Malte Renz
